26.04.2012 May Madness, Again A bit of silence over Raven's Lair these past weeks, only because I've been too freaking busy. Now May is upon us, with its gagillion events, shows and all-round rabble-rousing. Follow me... May 3rd - Montreal Release of Subversions vol.2. Show at Casa del Popolo with the gang. There are release parties scheduled for Vancouver, Rome and possibly Toronto. My Pimp Police is one of the thiry-ish stories in the anthology. May 15-16th - 7th Anarchist Theatre Festival - performing with Anarchistes Anonymes the brand new 'Anar Ecoute' play, 7 people on stage, 16 characters, 8 scenes - a crazy fucking thing, and funny as fuck. French only. May 19-20th - Montreal Anarchist Bookfair - The yearly bookfair, will have copies of Valacchia on hand, but nothing else is new. Come in and say hi! Besides Montreal May Madness, lots and lots of developments. Can't reference the whole lot now, but here's a jumbled tease... Co-authored an article on Anarchism and Ecology in Quebec due to be released by Lux Publishing. Interview in Summum Girl. Interview about ecology in 24 heures, Journal Métro, Le Devoir. Finally, working on a promo video and a spanking new website. All of this, very soon. 11.03.2012 Unbefuckinglievable  Burlesque Macabre was a triumphant success! A gagillion thanks to you hundred dark souls who showed - it was a night to remember, and I swear, the memories I haven't lost to alcohol poisoning, I'll keep forever. I spend so much time writing this stuff, being able to share these moments with you means the world to me. I'll never thank you enough!!! This is a follow-up to last week's open letter on the Harper Gov to associate greens and anticapitalists to terrorism. Also, here's a link to a TV clip from Feb 9 where Patrick Marsolais discusses Valacchia on a morning talk show. That's right, erotica - my erotica - in the morning, on national television. Check near the end. Sorry for the ads. I tried to rip the thing so I could make a proper edit and cut out the bullshit, but it's virtualy impossible, go figure. And now it gets really confusing, as two refer to my environmental work, one for the upcoming Malice Cycle, and three, yes, three for Valacchia. Here it goes! I will be giving a two hour workshop in French, entitled “Les jardins collectifs et l’agriculture urbaine, formes de renouvellement de la solidarité” at the UQAM University this Tuesday Nov 22nd. English French 12.06.2011  The Anarchistes Anonymous presentation was a fucken blast, thanks to the AAs, the festival and especially everyone who showed up! In other news, a new short piece will be presented in July as part of a unique theatre performance as part of the 12th Festival International Montreal en Arts. There will be some ten performers, it will be interactive, in English and French, and there will be dancing. What more do you want? Details to come...
